A surf poncho is ideal when changing before your kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, SUP or wingsurfing session. A surf poncho keeps you warm, you can dry off and you can easily change without walking around naked on the beach. The fabric feels like a towel, is nice and soft and made of quick drying fabric.
A surf poncho is usually available in a universal size. Most of the time, ponchos are cut the same for men and women. There are smaller poncho sizes for children.
Poncho variants
There are countless variants: without arms, short sleeve or long sleeve, with hood or without, short or long, with or without kangaroo pouch, with or without side pockets.
There are ponchos made of terry (cotton) or polyester blends. Ponchos made of cotton absorb a lot of moisture. Polyester blend ponchos are lighter and dry faster.
Kangaroo booties are super practical because they warm your hands and you can store things in them.
