NEOPRENSCHUHE ANGEBOTE IM KITESHOP. NEOPREN SCHUHE ONLINE SURFSHOP IN ÖSTERREICH.
Neoprene shoes and neoprene boots keep your feet warm and protect your feet from cuts and abrasions in the standing area and on a rugged coast. In hot temperatures, they protect against burns from hot sand. Neoprene boots are also especially useful in cold water or cool temperatures.
Wet and slippery surfaces are no problem with neoprene shoes, due to their non-slip sole they give you important stability here.
Overall, neoprene shoes offer a combination of protection and comfort that makes them a versatile companion for anyone who is active in the water or in wet conditions.
Which model is right for me?
Neoprene shoes come in many different styles. Which one suits you best depends on the sport and season for which you need the shoes. Your personal preferences also play a role in the purchase decision.
Low Cut - the classic neoprene shoe
Low cut models reach just below the ankle and are on and off in a flash, a dream for warm days. The soles of your feet are protected, while your ankles remain flexible and ensure optimal freedom of movement on the board.
High Cut - the classic neoprene boot
The High Cut models offer you particularly good support and are warmer overall because less water penetrates. They have a higher shaft that reaches above the ankles. Often, putting them on is a bit of a hassle, so there are also models with zippers that make it easier for you to slip them on. Attention: If you wear boots, they may pinch.
Since the feel of the board can be somewhat affected by neoprene shoes (so make sure they fit snugly!), Split Toe models were developed to allow better contact with the board. They have a separate area for the big toe, which gives you more stability and supports you safely during maneuvers.
Round Toe models, the classic version, have an area for all toes. You can find both boot and low cut models here.
Why is there such a wide price range for suits?
This is primarily due to the materials used. Basically, you can say: the more expensive the suit, the higher the quality and accordingly more pleasant, softer and more flexible is the wearing comfort. Good neoprene shoes last a long time, so it is advisable to choose more expensive models.
Neoprene socks compared to classic neoprene shoes
With neoprene socks you are closest to the barefoot feeling. In winter, you can additionally wear them in neoprene shoes. One disadvantage is that they are not as warm, offer less injury protection and break down faster.
Which neoprene thickness is the right one?
- Cold winter, water temperatures below 10 degrees: 6 to 7 mm
- Transitional season, water temperature 10 to 16 degrees: 4-5 mm
- Summer, water temperature 17 to 22 degrees: 3 mm or less
The optimal fit - find the right size for your neoprene shoes
Neoprene shoes should not pinch or chafe. However, they should fit snugly on the foot, and the toes should have just enough room to stretch. A tight fit means less water gets into the shoe and the foot doesn't slide back and forth in the shoe.
