Kite Pumps

The pump is perhaps the most underestimated component of kitesurfing equipment. There are models with volumes ranging from approx. 2 to 6 litres per stroke. Larger pumps are very efficient, but can become a problem on your next flight at the latest. Most kite pumps are supplied with various pump adapters so that they work with a large number of kite models. If you need a particularly ‘exotic’ pump attachment, this will hopefully have been supplied with your kite when you purchased it. Many kite pumps have a switch that allows you to switch between a single and double stroke pump. Some premium models even switch from double-stroke to single-stroke at a certain pressure. A good pump is also characterised by as little friction as possible during the pumping process, as well as a reliable pressure gauge. If you want to take it easy, you can also consider buying an electric pump.
