Complete Rigs

A windsurf complete rig consists of the following components:

Sail
Mast
Boom
Starting sheet
Mastbase or mast extension
Mast base (Attention: this is not included in the set of every brand)

There are different types of windsurf complete rigs, which differ mainly in size and handling characteristics.

Beginner rigs: these rigs are usually smaller and lighter and are especially suitable for beginners. They are easier to handle and allow an easy entry into the world of windsurfing.

Advanced rigs: These rigs are usually larger and more powerful and are especially suitable for advanced surfers. They allow for higher speeds.

Wave rigs: These rigs are specially designed for windsurfing in waves.

Size: The size of the rig should be chosen according to your body weight, level and wind range.
