In summer a bikini or board shorts are enough. Thanks to warm temperatures you don't need neoprene shoes. For longer trips, a sunscreen should definitely be part of your equipment. These are available in both short and long sleeves. The fit is divided into two variants: classic tight-fitting or loose fit.
For low air and water temperatures neoprene shoes or neoprene socks as well as neoprene gloves are useful. Depending on how cold you feel, SUP leggings for the legs may be suitable. This is worn in combination with a neoprene top for the upper body. Tops made of neoprene are much warmer lycras or water t-shirts. These are available as long or short sleeved versions and, depending on the model, also with a zipper. In even cooler weather we recommend neoprene jackets and neoprene hoodies. These can be combined with long johns neoprene suits (short sleeve, long leg). To protect the head from the cold wind, we recommend wearing a neoprene cap. This is also part of the basic equipment of every stand up paddler in winter.
In winter, a dry suit is necessary so that you can SUP safely on the water. Dry suits are loosely cut so that there is enough room for underwear. We recommend breathable sports underwear. The drysuit provides complete protection from water entry. Tight-fitting neoprene or latex is used on the sleeves, at the bottom of the legs and at the neck.
In our SUP store we carry the brands Drydor and Prolimit.
