Kites
Kites are available in different versions, which differ in attack surface and angle of the wind. Using linen, the stunt kites are controlled so that the forces exerted on the athlete forces vary in strength and direction. The size of the screen also depends on the wind strength. The most driven sizes are 9 to 12 m². Stronger winds require smaller screens, to prevent overloading. Especially beginners should be careful not to use too large kite. Mainly distinguishes between softkites and Tubekites:
The softkites or Ram Air kites or mats look like paragliders and are particularly suitable for use on land, such as snowboarding or Allterainboarden
Tubekites have unlike softkites several inner tubes (Tubes): a front hose (leading edge), which gives the shape of the screen and several cross tubes (Struts), which are connected approximately at a 90 ° angle at the leading edge and give the "sail area" stability. softkites, tubekites, C-kite, Bow kites
