AK offers three different shapes that are suitable for wingsurfing.
Phazer
The Phazer has a rather "surfy" outline and is not only suitable for wingsurfing, but also for surfing, pump foiling and kiting, depending on the size. It has a carbon top deck and a wooden sandwich construction. The Phazer is available in volumes from 30 up to 140 liters.
Our opinion: For a wingboard, the shape is rather on the longer side. This can be a small disadvantage when traveling or for hardcore freestylers. On the other hand, the Phazer has very good planing characteristics, competitive weight and is, especially in the smaller sizes, a great choice for all those who not only want to wing but also surf or pump. So, if you want more than just to wing, the Phazer can still turn into your perfect travel partner.
Phazer Duratech
The Phazer Duratech is available with a volume of 110 and 140 liters. Due to its design, it is somewhat heavier, but significantly cheaper than the Phazer.
Compact Wingboard
A thoroughbred, very light and compact wingboard with little "swing weight", which is very suitable for rotations/freestyle. We would recommend this board to advanced and professional riders. Like the Phazer, it has a carbon top deck and the base is made of a wood sandwich construction. The Compact is available in 6 sizes with volumes between 36 and 105 liters.
Nomad Foilboard
The Nomad is a light wind wingboard and downwind crossover foilboard at the same time. It is available in 90 liters, 115 liters and 135 liters.
Our opinion: You can use a downwind board to get a knot or two of additional low wind performance, and downwind boards allow you to use smaller wings than it would be possible with most classic wingboards. However, the boards are not only longer but also narrower and usually more unstable than the classic wingsurf shapes. A certain amount of experience is therefore required.
