In the second year of the design collaboration of Damien Girardin & Ralf Groesel, SUPERMODEL went through major updates in shape, construction and performance. 2026 marks the rst year where we step away from more traditional Dacron constructions, in favour of the new high tenacity polyester Aerolite material.
WHAT’S NEW
Aerolite Frame Technology:
Higher grade, new LE material with tighter weaves,
makes SuperModel more responsive, snappier and
stiffer.
Even lighter, improved construction:
Thru further refinements in the production process
Damien managed to shave even more weight off of
SuperModel A.F.T.
Less segments:
The optimized wingtip structure with fewer segments
contributes to a lighter overall frame.
Reworked bridle geometry:
To complement the new Aerolite frame, the bridle has
been reworked to match its stiffer performance.
