HP Baseplate Alu
The new Indiana HP Baseplate Alu is milled from hardened T6 6061 aluminum and is therefore very stable and stiff. Thanks to the slots, it only weighs 480 g.
The integrated sacrificial zinc anode prevents the aluminum from oxidizing. The open ends of the plates allow the to be quickly mounted/removed from the board without having to completely loosen the screws.
The outer screw spacing corresponds to the industry standard of 90mm x 165mm and the inner spacing is 90mm x 125mm.

Rinse the connections and screws of your foil fresh water after every use.
We recommend that you take apart the completely if you are not using it for a long time
Check the anodes in the alu baseplate and the adaptor regularly. They will degrade after some time. This is normal. This will happen faster when the is used in salt water. Replace the anodes if they are broken or cracked.
Make sure to coat all screws with a thin layer of Tef-Gel before assembly. This will prevent corrosion and seizing of the screws.
