Racel Sail
The SCR is a highly competitive racing sail. The design of the -22 has been developed for less physically demanding performance, making it the ultimate weapon for winning slalom races and being extremely fast in endurance races such as the Defi Wind, where endurance is key. This improved control equates to a higher top-end speed.
The most important improvement in the -22 SCR is the refined sleeve profile. The width of the sleeve gradually increases towards the larger sizes to achieve the perfect blend of power delivery, forward drive and balance. The result of the following improvements is a sail that is demonstrably faster, planes earlier and offers much better stability in overpowered conditions.
VERTICAL SHAPING LUFF PANEL // Distributes the load within the cutline over a larger area of the sail as more luff is added, increasing durability and reducing stretch in this critical area of the sail. Increases stability and fixes the power center of the sail.
