Core Wave – Classic Heavy Duty

The Combat is our World Cup Team Riders’ sail of choice. Completely redesigned in 2024, the main design features remain unchanged for 2025. A higher aspect design featuring a slightly longer mast, wider head and narrower boom greatly increases high end control in this year’ s edition of our best-selling wave sail. 

HD
HD construction provides pro-level construction techniques at an un-matched price point. The Ultra PE X- Ply sail body with an X - Ply centre window form an extremely durable sail which is still light in the hands. The introduction of Powerfuse in the tack and clew of our HD construction since 2024 represents a significant upgrade over previous HD models, providing a pro-level strength-to-weight ratio at a more affordable price than the Pro Fuse.

REGULAR
The regular Combat construction provides pro-level construction techniques at an un-matched price point. Identical to the Combat HD but with a clear center window, the Ultra PE X- Ply sail body makes for an extremely durable sail that is still light in the hands and offers better visibility on the wave for those who prefer not to ride an x-ply centre window. The introduction of Powerfuse in the tack and clew of our HD construction since 2024 represents a significant upgrade over previous HD models, providing a pro-level strength-to-weight ratio at a more affordable price than the Pro Fuse.

PRO FUSE
Q -Bond panels and extended use of Ultra scrim allowed us to reduce weight by up to 25% in 2024. New for 2025, the foot and clew panels now feature custom double Taffeta - Technora laminate for even greater strength in these high-load areas. We have also extended the window higher up the sail for better visibility on the wave. Built on the foundations of NeilPryde’s renowned custom-panel technologies, Pro Fuse sails are not only super light, but as strong (or stronger) than any NeilPryde sail ever built.
