The paddle should be cut and reassembled to your ideal length. Remember that in foil, the distance from the water is greater, you can always shorten it later, and as you progress, you will need a few more centimeters.

Handle Cutting: Generally, the total length of the paddle should exceed the rider's height by about 15-25 cm to ensure good performance and fluidity in movement. Start by cutting the handle slightly longer than you think is necessary, and then gradually reduce it to the desired size. This approach helps avoid excessive and irreversible cuts, allowing you to refine the length through subsequent adjustments until the perfect configuration is reached.

Assembly Glue: Use a thick glue or a two-component epoxy glue to ensure a strong and lasting bond between handle and shaft. Check also that the blade is properly fixed to the shaft before use; eventually reinforce following the same gluing procedure.
