SIC was born of shaper/waterman Mark Raaphorst. Hailing originally from the Netherlands, he left at the age of 16 to fulfill his windsurfing dreams, which, like so many windsurfers, landed him on the north shores of Maui, Hawaii. here he fulfilled his dream of becoming a waterman, making a living doing board repairs, and learning the craft of shaping from the masters.

The TAO is a powerful paddle that is versatile and durable. It is available in 2-piece and 3-piece versions and features a lever lock adjustment system with a wide range of adjustment. This paddle is ideal for all-round use, surfing, and SUP foiling, and is perfect for beginners to advanced paddlers, as well as schools and clubs. The high fiberglass content in both the shaft and the paddle blade, as well as the ABS T2 handle, make this paddle extremely robust and resistant to wear and tear.
