The Aipa x Mayhem TORCHES 5-fin set was designed by Duke Aipa with support from Matt Biolos. Created to complement their PuddleJumper and SubScorcher x STING surfboard collaboration. The PuddleJumper STING and the SubScorcher STING are both five-fin setups that can be ridden equally effectively as triters or quads, depending on the surfer and the wave. The TORCHES shares qualities and input from both shapers/designers incorporated into the 5-fin set with aggressive performance and playful freedom in mind.

The TORCHES have been designed to fit seamlessly on both boards, adding the finishing touch to the most groundbreaking surfboard design collaboration of the decade. The ghost flames on the fins pay homage to the first flame airbrushing of the Aipa Stings on a 1976 SURFER magazine cover, inspiring the STING design element to catch fire worldwide.
