The Beluga LTE (Y26) is a classic all-rounder. It is available in 5 sizes between 55 and 125 liters. With the 55 liter model, the Y26 range offers an additional size compared to the latest model (Y27).
The Beluga LTE (Y27) comes with reduced weight compared to last year's model and is now an extremely lightweight board. At 75 liters, a weight of 5.4 kg is specified. As usual, the Beluga LTE has pronounced bevels and a kick tail. It is suitable for both flat water and waves and comes in four sizes from 75 to 125 liters.
The Beluga LTD is the pro series of the RRD wingboard range and the board of choice for top riders such as Francesco Cappuzzo, Gollito Estredo and Camile Bouyer, who have won numerous titles and top placings in the freestyle, slalom and race disciplines. The extremely lightweight shape manufactured using full carbon technology (the 75 liter version is specified at 5.1 kg!) is ideal for maneuvering. The very compact board is suitable for intermediate and advanced wingfoilers. The Beluga LTD has a double concave from the center of the board to the bow for controlled touch downs, as well as pronounced bevels and a kick tail. The board is available in 8 sizes from 35 to 125 liters.
The Narwhal is a downwind board. It allows you to surf swells on the open sea, but its outline also makes it suitable for wingfoiling, especially in lower winds. It is a shape for advanced riders. There are three standard sizes with a volume of 110, 120 and 125 liters and lengths between 5'11 and 6'6. Custom shapes in other dimensions can also be ordered.
Our opinion: In light wind, you can get one or two knots of additional low wind performance out of a downwind board, and downwind boards make it possible to use smaller wings than it would be possible with most classic wingboards. However, the boards are usually less stable than the classic wingsurf shapes. You should therefore have a certain amount of experience.
The Dolphin is a shape developed for wing-, surf- and kitefoil. The model with a length of 4'8 (38 liters) is intended for riders under 80 kg and the model with 5'2 (44 liters) for people weighing 80 kg and above. Boards in this volume class are aimed at experts when it comes to wingfoil. Especially for kitefoil, the boards are suitable for all skill levels.
The Pocket Rocket combines wind-, SUP- and wingfoiling. The board is available with a volume of 120 and 140 liters and lengths of 180 and 200 cm. The 200 cm model is aimed at heavier riders and foil beginners.
